Since its formation Energytek continues to fulfil its objectives and has successfully completed the following;
New housing developments of high quality energy efficient homes have been built in Yorkshire in the following locations, York, Dunnington, Fangfoss, Elvington, Weaverthorpe, Slingsby, Westow, Burythorpe, Huntington, Stockton on Forest, Skipwith and Tibthorpe.
Refurbished several thousand local authority and housing association homes.
Several new high quality energy efficient homes each year saving the customer thousands of pounds in monthly bills
Many fuel saving heating installations involving ground and air source heat pumps, Biomass (wood pellet) boilers, heat recover units and insulation systems again resulting in substantial fuel savings to our customers.
Energytek either employ or have access to all the trades required to carry out all aspects of construction work and only use skilled reliable tradesmen most of whom have been trained by us and worked with us for many years.
Recent works successfully completed by Energytek include:
A) Social Housing
• City of York Council – over the past 12 years refurbished approximately 2000 homes, including rewiring, new heating systems, new kitchens, new bathrooms and general repairs
B) New housing developments of high quality energy efficient homes have been built in Yorkshire in the following locations, York, Dunnington, Fangfoss, Elvington, Weaverthorpe, Slingsby, Westow, Burythorpe, 2 barn conversions and 3 new cottages in Huntington, York, Stockton on Forest, Skipwith and Tibthorpe.
C) In 2010 Energytek completed the construction of Bishop Wilton Hall, East Yorkshire which is a large village and sports hall. This design and build project incorporates high thermal insulation and air tightness, ground source heat pump and underfloor heating and state of the art heat recover, ventilation and heating control systems. This has given the village a very attractive and functional hall with the added advantage of substantial savings in energy bills.
The project was lottery funded and was financially supervised by the Village Committee and consultants Faithful & Gould.
